I understand the residents meeting is being held on 29th january 2009.Would it be possible to hold it over the christmas/new year period

when more residents/owners are availiable to attend rather than things being decided by proxy all the time.also it would be nice for residents/owners to get together to disscuss any issues & have general chat.Also could we not have a meeting more than once a year to give people more of an oppertunity to attend at least one a year

Sorry i have not posted anything for a long time but i had to be carefull with the court case going on etc.

Many people have asked me why the agenda for the 2008 is so short on content especially with many things needing to be done on the building.

The answer is that i have been in negotiations with the administrator and Jacamar representatives trying to sort out what needs doing.

We now seem to have an administrator on site every Thursday morning in the office at the front door now this in my opinion is a step in the right direction.... dont know if they will do anything though.....but they are here at least you can speak with someone if you have a problem

I and a few other owners were over in the last week of Jan for the meeting that never was! Tom and Wendy tell me there is a provisional court date of 6th March to sort out the ongoing saga with administrators and chairman, lets hope it gets sorted soon.

The pool was not fixed as of 2nd Feb. I was concerned to hear from another owner that people were suffering ear infections ...

Did anyone see this programme tonight? One of the places featured was Aguamarina. The couple did not buy it though. It was was featured as a 2 bedroom apartment but looked like a one bedroom ,at a one bedroom price.

We gave received a letter this morning from GAE Administration, Managing Partner, Jose Antonio Acevedo Alonso, stating they have been hired to provide support to the Community of owners at Agumaraina.

Does anyone know who these people are and what they are suposed to be doing?.

Letter sounds very reasonable but who has hired them and we assume they are now there until the present dispute is settled.

Hi all,

Just returned to the wind and rain of the UK after a bit of sun therapy over the new year,and I noticed quite a few changes which I assume are a result of the new development opening up.

1. the empty apartments on the outside of the building have definitely been spruced up, so there must be some effort going into selling them,

2. the roads are getting even worse in and out of the resort with traffic queues the worst I had seen

What will this mean in practice? What will happen to our maintenance fees? Can we hold an AGM without an administrator and an ongoing dispute regarding the president?

How will we get necessary repairs done round the complex whilst we are in limbo eg the shabby state of the pool area?

We have just spotted on the Internet that the Elton John concert is definitely on for 24 Jan in Adeje. Luckily, we are out there for a few days from 21 Jan, so have booked a couple of tickets, should be a good night. The heading says it all , it is up to the owners to make this forum happen , plus if you knew half of what is going on down here, the forum would be in meltdown mode . today there was 24 operatives working on the front entrance which incidentally looks like the next ferry to La Gomera the building can not be missed as it is the only ferry on dry land . the building is painted bright white and navy blue and is supposed to be open in December , but our Building at present is housing some wuold ...

Thanks for doing this - I think it is a great way to keep owners in touch.

We do not get out there as often as we would like, but really want to keep in touch with what is happening; i.e. is the building completed; does it have occupants - it is certainly advertising availability at husge prices; is there less dirt around on the west side of the building; have the developers done anything to make their flats more secure and saleable - all this and more.

It seems that to get paint for the apartment we have to find a supplier and get the paint mixed and hope the colour matches!.

To try and keep all the apartments a similar colour is it possible to get one supplier for the paint or a stock of paint that can be purchased from the commitee?.

My Spanish is pretty poor but it seems you can only get the paint in very large tins!!

We need to involve the administrator on the Forum as they are the only ones who can answer the Questions we all have.. and unless people post on here and use the Forum it will die a death !

Until this president and administration is removed nothing will be done going by their past records. The place is still clean thanks to the cleaners and the maintenance man is doing his job abet at his own pace.
